This is the site of my own dino-dictionary. I'll try to present some of the most important facts about paleontology. There are so many really great dino sites on the Web that all I'm going to have here are my favorites; for instance:

  • It was named in 1970, even though it was found in 1942.
  • It was found in Arizona and China.
  • It was 22 feet long.
  • It weighed around 1000 pounds.
  • It was a Theropod.
  • It lived during the Jurassic Period.

My version of Therizinosaurus
Therizinosaurus 
("scythe lizard")
  • It was found in Mongolia.
  • It was named in 1954.
  • It was a Theropod but probably ate plants or insects. 
  • It had 28 inch claws.
  • It was around 23 feet long.
  • It weighed around three tons.
  • It lived during the Cretaceous Period.
